Nurses 98 Lansley 0
Bravo to the nurses for standing up to a bully boy politician who disrespected them and then expects us to believe he’s ‘listening’. The only reason the Condems are taking time out to ‘listen’ is so they can put the whole thing on the back-burner until after the May elections when the Libdems are going to need all the help they can get to stop them being completely wiped out in the local elections. But in the end it boils down to the fact that health and education are two areas where politicians selfish ambitions need to be kept well away from because they are too important.

Rupert Murdoch BSkyB takeover gets government go-ahead
Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation has been given government approval for its controversial bid to take over BSkyB.
The green light follows News Corp's offer to spin off Sky News as an independent company.
Rival media groups dismissed News Corp's offer as a "whitewash" and said they would "vigorously contest" it.
News Corp, which owns the Sun, the News of the World and the Times and the Sunday Times, is looking to take over the 61% of BSkyB that it does not own.
Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt said he intended to accept News Corp's offer rather than refer the takeover to the Competition Commission.

A Christmas Cameron
A seasonal one to end the year. Scrooge Cameron is haunted by the ghosts of Jacob Brown, Christmas Boom and Christmas Bust, while Christmas Yet To Be hovvers menacingly over the crippled form of Tiny Economy. The sad reality is Scrooge saw the error of his ways, Cameron never will.
