Michael Caine

I’m a big fan of Len Deighton and I love the 60s Harry Palmer films. Michael Caine was the ultimate in understated cool in the role and a great icon for the times. The Ipcress File is supposedly the best but I think Funeral in Berlin beats it hands down.

I like this very much. How did you do this one?

Thanks Sal. It's another vector piece which starts with a sketch usually (and in this case) based on photographs. I then use Photoshop to create each part of the image and then manipulate accordingly.

I liked Ipcress file too, but preferred Billion Dollar Brain.
That's a quality pic BTW, loved that. would make a great wall mural.

Hiya Chewie

You mean like a Harry Palmer Banksy? Ha ha I see what you mean.

How are you mate? I thought Billion Dollar Brain was good until he went to Texas and it just turned into a sub-standard Bond movie. Did you know the gorgeous blonde girl was Catherine Deneuve's sister?

I'm with on that one. I must get them on DVD.

But how gorgeous was Eva Renzi in Funeral in Berlin?

Thanks mannanan, do you know The Sayle Gallery? I was thinking of seeing if they wanted to show some of my stuff like this (the cranes are modelled from ones in Douglas by the way).
